Alec cuts through the noise. He crafts innovative solutions based on careful, incisive analysis. Prior to joining WFK, Alec articled with Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg in Montreal and clerked for the judges of the Court of Appeal for Ontario.
Alec’s practice covers a broad range of civil and commercial disputes. He has experience representing debtors, creditors, and court-appointed officers in both formal and informal insolvency proceedings.
Alec is a graduate of the McGill Faculty of Law. During law school, Alec served as Director of Research for the Legal Information Clinic at McGill and clerked for the Quebec Court of Appeal. He holds degrees in history from McGill and the University of Oxford.
Alec is a member of the Law Society of Ontario, the Barreau du Québec, and the Canadian Bar Association and the Turnaround Management Association. He is fluent in English and French.
